It should now be fairly apparent that there are merits to both systems. The biggest difference is the experience of the printer and the materials and equipment that he or she is using. 

Price is not an indication of the quality of the finished product. Fair pricing comes from good printers. Instead, ask to see some work. Ask if it is possible to have a sample of your design printed before you place the order. This is easy for a digital printer if they are willing to do any layout work without an order being placed. This is normally not possible with a screen printer since they would have to make the screens first. They are not likely to do that. But, ask them about their equipment and it's capabilities. Ask how long it will be before the order is ready. A 50% deposit is standard for any custom printed work. 

People love wearing T-shirts. They're comfortable and they're certainly part of our culture. They can display a message, promote a business or just let the world know how you feel about something. But mostly, they're just plain cool!
