Whether you are looking for printed tshirts for yourself, your group, your team, a special event or your project, and if you have your own design or if you just have an idea we can help you.

 

In fact we even offer personalized t-shirts.

 

We specialize in printing using t-shirt transfers applied to the t-shirts with a commercial heat press.

 

We also do screen printing.

 

We have broken down our printed tshirts processes into three categories. These categories are what we call:

 

· Process 1 — Tee shirt printing on white and light colour t-shirts.

· Process 2 — Printing some images on dark t-shirts or where white is crucial in the printed tshirts.

· Process 3 — Screen printing

Using Process 1 and Process 2, we can make your printed tshirts in any quantity whether you need just 1, a few, a dozen or several dozen. Any amount. If you need 52 then just order 52.

 

And personalized t-shirts are easy. Names, numbers or text!

 

If you require larger quantities with only one or two colours (you can have up to six colours), then Process 3 screen printing may be the best solution.

 

So, before I go any further let me clarify the different processes and quantities to help you select which process will be best for you.

If You Want White or Light Coloured Printed Tshirts with Full Colour Printing, Including Personalized T-shirts, This is Available with Process 1

 

*ANY Quantity—No Minimum

 

Print text, graphics, images, photographs, team shirts with names and numbers, or other personalization.

 

If you want white or light coloured t-shirts you can order ANY quantity including just 1. Most people generally order between 12 - 150.

 

The choices for light colours are yellow haze, ash grey, ice grey, beige/natural, light blue, serene green or light pink.

 

“Process 1” Printed Tshirts

This printing process uses t-shirt transfer paper printed on with a colour laser printer. The image is then applied to the t-shirt using a commercial heat press.

 

This process is similar to the store bought “iron on” transfers, however the biggest difference is with a commercial heat press, all of the ink is pressed into the shirt instead of just most of the ink.

 

All of the materials that we use are the commercial grade which are generally not available to the public since the t-shirt transfers must be applied to the t-shirt using a commercial heat press.

Custom printed t-shirts with split screen printing on black or any dark coloured (actually any colour) t-shirts. 

Minimum order is

25 t-shirts with logo only or 50 t-shirts with large graphic.

There Is No Minimum Order (On Process 1 and Process 2 Orders)

 

This is ideal for small groups and projects since there are no additional costs to push up the "per-unit" price of each printed tshirt. We can do any size order, however we specialize in small orders of just 1 or a few up to about 150. But also be aware that we also can effectively print large orders.

Full-Colour Printing (Process 1 and Process 2)

 

As colourful as you want. One colour or a thousand colours. It doesn't matter because there are no screens involved. And no screens means no extra costs.

 

Full-colour printing also gives you the flexibility to take a drawing (paint, crayon, coloured pens, etc) or have a photograph or a collage of photographs on a T-shirt. If you are a software developer or a recording artist, you can scan your CD cover or artwork and we’ll print it onto a T-shirt.

 

If you have a multi-coloured logo for your business you won't have to compromise and have your image reduced to one or two colours.

 

All Custom Designs

 

Your printed tshirts will be custom designed, whether you design them or we do the designing. If your design is on paper then send us a jpg of your artwork.

 

If you do your designing with your own computer program, we can print from that.

 

Or simply tell us what you want and how you want it to look and we'll do the layout for you.

 

We use CorelDRAW X4 which will import most file formats.

 

Sample T-shirt (Process 1 and Process 2 only)

 

If you are having a fundraiser or if you need to have an actual t-shirt in hand before placing a larger order, then it is possible to order a sample t-shirt.

 

Risk-Free Ordering 

 

One major advantage of ordering a sample T-shirt (see above) is that it allows any of the other decision makers the opportunity to view a finished T-shirt.

 

Perfect For Fundraising 

 

Another of the great ways that you can take advantage of the sample T-shirt is to put it on display and PRE-SELL the T-shirts. This way you can order the exact quantity you need in the sizes you want.

 

If the next day, next week or next year you need a few more just call. We'll keep your T-shirt file and information handy.

 

100% Cotton T-shirts 

 

All orders include printing on 1st quality, Gildan “Ultra” 10.1 ounce 100% cotton T-shirts (preshrunk).

 

You can contain mix and match sizes and styles:

· Toddler  - 2T, 3T, 4T  - Gildan 2000P

· Youth  - XS, S, M, L, XL  - Gildan 2000B

· Ladies  - XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL  - Gildan 2000L

· Adult (Men’s/Unisex) - S, M, L, XL, 2XL (some colours are available in 3XL, 4XL and 5XL)  - Gildan 2000

 

Quality Inks And Printing

 

We use only inks and transfer papers that are recommended by our printer manufacturer (never the cheaper generic brands).

 

Once printed, the image on the transfer is bonded to the T-shirt using a commercial heat press. 

 

As a personal note; I make shirts for my own kids (ages 5 - 18). That way I know first-hand how they wear, how they wash and generally how well they stand up. The washing instructions are attached to each shirt.

 

Individually Bagged 

 

Each T-shirt is delivered to you individually folded and bagged.

 

There is also a tag attached to each t-shirt with the size of the t-shirt, an image of what is printed on the t-shirt and the washing instructions. This makes distributing the t-shirts easy.

 

Our Prices 

 

The following prices are a quick example of our prices. These prices are based on a minimum order of 12 t-shirts printed on white Gildan "Ultra" t-shirts.

 

Sizes Small, Medium, Large, X-Large as well as Youth Small, Medium & Large. One colour printing or full-colour printing - the price is the same. You never pay by the number of colours you use with Process 1 and Process 2.

Full-colour custom printed t-shirts using transfer to dark process (also on light colours requiring white ink). No minimum.

If You Require Dark T-shirts with white or a light colour ink or a larger quantity of one or two colours on any colour of t-shirt - Screen Printing (Process 3)

 

 * Minimum order 25 t-shirts

 

Tee shirt printing with just one or two colours of ink on any colour of t-shirts

 

To print some graphics on dark or black t-shirts screen printing may be required.

 

Essentially what screen printing is, is having a stencil and filling the open areas with ink. Each colour requires its own screen and if you have printing on the front of the t-shirt and printing on the back, a screen is required for each side. This means that if you had 2-colour printing on the front and 2-colour printing on the back, four screens would be required (unless the front and the back had the identical printing).

 

We use a split screen method. In other words we have your image/graphic/lettering printed onto paper and then it is applied to the t-shirt again using a heat press. This not only applies the ink to the t-shirt but the heat also properly cures the ink.

 

In this process you have the choice of ink colour and can have from 1 - 6 different colours. There is a setup charge for each colour and t-shirts printed with just one colour are going to be less money than t-shirts with 2 colours, etc.

 

There are so many variables in screen printing that it would be too confusing to publish a price list. You would need to send us an email outlining exactly what you want printed along with the image.

 

The quantity of t-shirts you want significantly impacts the price as well as the number of colour in the image.

 

This process can also be used for cost-effectively printing larger quantities on white or any colour of t-shirt.

 

Teams

 

We also have limited abilities to do personalized t-shirts. If you have a team and want individual names and numbers on the back however there is only a few font styles for the names and for the numbers. Also, the ink colour is limited.

Dark T-shirts or Any Coloured T-shirt That Requires White in the Graphic Can Be Printed Using Process 2

 

  *ANY Quantity

 

Print Photos, CD covers, any artwork that can be trimmed

 

Let’s say that you have a CD cover or a photo or that you want to put the Canadian flag on a dark t-shirt, this process is ideal.

 

This is a special transfer paper that is coated with white ink. When the image is printed with a colour laser printer, the image looks the same as if it was printed on white paper. However this transfer paper is opaque so when it is pressed onto the t-shirt it looks colour correct.

 

Printing a CD cover or photograph would look the same as the original on the dark shirt. The Canadian flag would actually be red and white.

 

This process works on any colour t-shirt including light colours where having white is crucial.

 

If you want only a few dark t-shirts with white or another colour of light ink this process won’t necessarily work. It would need to be modified.  Please see the examples.

A Little About Our Company

 

We began making custom printed T-shirts back in 1995. We have printed and/or designed and printed literally thousands of custom T-shirts (Communities in Bloom, Big Sisters, ADRA etc.).

 

We've also designed and printed T-shirts for Christian Youth Groups and schools and in many cases have taken their design, scanned it and pressed in onto the T-shirts.

 

Our process is a state of the art, full-colour, computer procedure using a printer designed for T-shirts. Your computer graphic is printed on premium-grade transfer paper and then the image is bonded to the T-shirt using a commercial heat press. Each T-shirt is later folded and individually tagged bagged before delivery.

In Summary, Here's What You Get

 

The first thing you need to do is get a Price Quote. To do this please send us an email to mail@tshirtscanada.com and include the following information:

 

· The number of t-shirts you need.

· The sizes you want.

· What colour of t-shirts do you want.

· If you want dark colours, black, navy, purple etc., please send a sample of your artwork. Pricing is based on how many colours in your graphic. eg: All of your printing done in white ink will cost less than say printing the Canadian flag which uses red ink and white ink.

· Where you want the printing. - eg. Just a logo size/small graphic on the front left chest? A large graphic across the front or a large graphic on the back? Or the printing somewhere else. Please specify.

· If you have it please attach the graphic you want printed on the t-shirt (jpg, eps, pdf or wmf.). The ideal resolution should be 300 dpi at the same size you want printed. If you don't have a design, simply describe what you want and we'll design it for you. We use CorelDRAW X4 which can accurately import virtually all graphic files.

· Your delivery address or at least your Postal Code to determine shipping costs

· What date you need the t-shirts by.

This information allows us to give you an accurate price quote.

We can’t print the t-shirt on the far left, “We Can’t Print This Text With Process 2.” This t-shirt would need to be printed using Process 3. (see below)

 

However if we surround the text as in the example to the immediate left, we can trim away the excess transfer paper and then print the text using Process 2.

Screen Printed Tshirts on any colour T-shirts

Logo/Small Graphic

 

$7.25 each for a logo/small graphic - maximum print area is 3.5" x 3.5" - the logo/small graphic is normally printed on the left chest "pocket" area. However it can be printed also front center chest area or on the back center shoulder area. 

 

 

 

Large Graphic (printing on one side only)

 

$8.75 each for a large graphic - up to a maximum print area of 8" x 10" centered on the front chest area or the back shoulder area. The other side of the t-shirt would be un-printed.
